Has anyone else experienced this? The hard drive was practically full and since a powercut yesterday everything has been wiped off the disc. It won't even let me now record anything but says to phone a number in the UK. Anyone any suggestions or advice on where I can take it to?

I can see the headline now... "Bees stole the content of my SkyHD+Box shocker!"

Judyr Sorry that you have lost your recordings but as you have the this may help it recover the ability to record. Go to Services and then right tab one until settings is highlighted. Press 0 1 Enter on your remote. This brings up Engineers options. Right tab across until you highlight System Reset. Read the Warning on the screen and then press select The box will do a complete reset and turn off. After that turn it back on and live Pause rewind and record functions will be restored. This will definately lose any recordings on your hard disk but hopefully will restore functionality. I don't know if Sky would be able to do something else to try to restore the contents of your hard disk and return functionality. Maybe someone else does and can help H

Many thanks Harold2555 - It has worked but as you said, everything has been wiped. Do you know what has caused it, could it be overheating?

judyr during the very hot weather you get in the summer, I used to get problems with the HD box, solution was to ensure box was not in a confined space and try getting a fan on to it. This solved my overheating problems. But I would assume that the weather is not yet hot enough for the problem you have had recently.I think the power cut was more likely the culprit. Buy a UPS, this might help.
