Just had a call from a flight agent in Glasgow 3 weeks commencing 23rd June Glasgow to Larnaca morning flight £473 (EACH) afternoon flight £453 (EACH) anyone know of cheaper flights than these???????????????????.

Hi Simbas, I haven't been on here in weeks, new job and the travelling, min 1 hour each way means that I am exhausted when I get from one side of London to the other. I have missed all the gossip, is that a new arrival in your hands? I love new babies, funny expression as there are not old ones are there?

hi stevie , it might be worth booking a cheap easyjet flight to adana and getting a flight from adana to ercan i have seen them as little as £30 return , don't know if this helps

It all sound very expensive.

Remember XL airlines? (I was actually stuck in Cyprus when they collapsed, but that's another story!)

Well, some of their top people, had already deserted the sinking ship and joined 'Kiss'. They will be apparently be operating roughly the same routes.

For the dates you want, 23rd June to 14th July, Glasgow to Paphos £314 each.

I have Emailed the details to you.

Do hope this is of help. I looked at loads of other sites but it's too far ahead really.

Got to say you are being a bit adventurous expecting to get cheap deals for anything given the current economic climate.



A Spanish Airline has today gone under who normally charter to several UK holiday companies.



I am surprised that you have got the prices quoted you have, who knows what is going to happen in financial world and what is happening to price of fuel. I would lay odds that any company that quotes you a price will not guarantee they will be no surcharges on that price.



If you do decide to book this early ensure you have plenty of insurance cover, if available.

My Brother just booked return flights to Ercan from Stansted June next year £417 for 2 people total, not bad price we thought.

Thanks for all your advice Ref Flights, the dates should have been 23rd May for 3 weeks NOT 23rd June. Prices quoted were from Thomas Cook. Flying from Glasgow to London is OK but it is a full day going out and coming back, I`ve done it many times 06.30 to London change flight, arrive Ercan around 22.00 as I said it`s a long day.

Ey up Steve. Hope alls going well, was up in your neck of the woods last week. My situation not good (as far as N Cyprus goes anyway). Builder looking like hes on the brink, site no further on than my last visit and electric and water only a dream at this time. Still musnt grumble. Keep an eye on Cyprus Today.

Flights are still £415 for 2 with CTA, on dates 24th may ,back 14th from London.



Just shows you,who would have thought flying to Larnaca would be double the price of flying to Ercan.Damn shame CTA stopped the flights from Belfast and Glasgow, as they would have no problem filling a flight at those price differences.



Cheapest I could find from Glasgow to Larnaca 23RD MAY-13TH JUNE was £775 for 2.

steve ...Dont you fancy the drive from glasgow to manchester or is it that glasgow is your nearest airport..some good deals from man -larnaca with monarch. I am going 6th june -20th june £417 car hire with A-ONE £17Aday and £20 each way to larnaca.If you book 3weeks with them he would probably do your transfer ror less...
