Hi Folks

Posting this in the hope receiving some 'informed' responces

Having driven one car already to TRNC and actually enjoying experience, but now due for change, I am considering bringing my Uk based car and perhaps leaving it in TRNC for upto a year perhaps. I am planning a 90day stay in spring and I'm curious to whether I will allowed to bring car into TRNC if I make known my intention of leaving it for a year, and whether I will be required to remove car from TRNC when I return to UK for summer.

All views would be appreciated.

I am not 100% sure but I believe you can bring a car and leave it here for an accumulation of 1 year ie if you only come here for say 3 months in 1 year you could keep it for 4 years before you would need to register it. The only trouble is the car would then be too old as it would be older than 3 years. You would have to take the car back or dump it. Like I said not 100% sure but I am sure someone will correct this.
