Dutch end England reign, Netherlands 1-0 England.

Kyle Ebecilio's 26th-minute goal proved decisive as the Netherlands kept their sixth straight clean sheet to beat the holders to the final.

England ready for Dutch semi

England aim to find way past Netherlands

The Netherlands have not conceded a goal in five games but their semi-final opponents, holders England, have "a great amount of character" according to manager John Peacock.

DC - they are the 'Wives And GirlfriendS' that the English football team usually have hanging on when they go to a tournament.

i.e. Mrs Beckham, Mrs Rooney, Mrs Terry, Mrs Cole (well used to be)

The young kids don't have this female backing like their senior team does

Well played to the Dutch. Perhaps it bodes well for the future of their game.

▶ Can't get much better, can it, Bill..? Three times in the final of a World Cup tournament (counts for one World Title... ), European Champion, sending Dutch talented youngsters and older players (stupid Brits paying them!) to England every year to keep the Premier League teams alive... Wow! And only 17 million people!
