Hi Chris - lots of restaurants in Bellapais. Most main courses are a little more though. I think you will find around 28 to 35 YTL for fresh fish, kebabs, chops etc. Try Abbey Bell Tower (opposite the Abbey) or Bellamoon in the village. Also, Kybele in the abbey grounds - but a bit more expensive. Down in Ozankoy is Rafters (Fusion / Indian) which is very nice and great value - and Erolls as a more traditional taverna style. When are you going to be there ?

Very nice 3-course meal for TL25 at the Damla Restaurant in Dipkarpaz. Maybe this is too far for you

but if you ever make a trip to the east end of the island, you will be surprised how lovely and unspoilt it is still. Takes about 2 1/2 hours in the car

The best places to eat local fare in Kyrenia are the old Bazar at lunchtime ,booking is essential. Also a spotless cafe by the roundabout where you get the bus to Nicossia in the centre of Kyrenia. Run by two very charming and helpfull local ladies who will talk you through the traditional Cypriot menu. Also in Nicossia in the grounds of the main mosque is an excellent restaurant again serving traditional fare again at lunchtimes.Arrive before 12,30 as it gets full ,not sure if it is open weekends. Hope that is helpfull

Get to the main roundabout in the centre of town by the colony. You will then see all the buses parked up which go all over the north of the island.Just before the buses is a cafe that is spotlessly clean and usually has a noticeboard outside advertising the food in Turkish. Don-t worry the owners will talk you through the menu and even show the food before ordering.A main course is usually beween 12 -20 turkish lira.
