If by any chance you need a wheelchair to help you, drive your car right to the entrance of the hospital and a hospital porter will come down to the car with the "chair" help you out and then push you to Reception and than to any department you have to attend. They will also push you to the cafe (which is very good) and then back to your car when required.

A friend told me recently that when after hours ie if you need to get ugent treatement in the evening, drive round to the back of the hospital where A and E is and there are always staff to assist you. I have been around 9pm and there was nobody about in the reception on the main entrance except a security guard (this may of changed since last year) My friend praised the care and attention to a very high standard. Regards, Mrs Snakes.
