Update on Efes the dog

He's quite well trained now. He pretty much does what he's told. If he starts coming in a room and I don't want him in there I'll say out and point at the door, he will walk backwards out of the room. Loads of other things aswell.



Still got a few bad habits, he can't resist a snotty tissue for example.



Stopped giving him big bones because he always ends up hiding them and forgetting about them. Raw lamb chop bones he will just eat.



He still hates people, what you want in a guard dog I suppose.

P.S. He still likes a cuddle in the morning. It's the only time I will let him on my bed (Only for a couple of mins though)

Hi Mike and Shrimp, I for one is always interested in Efes. Having seen him from a very sad state to the beauty he is now. Mable if you do not like a post then do not read it. Mike is known to many of us here and we like his updates.

sorry you feel that way i just dont see why someone would post bout a dog and bones and ok the dog was rescued and in a bad state but so are half the dogs here that people take in mne included ,but what my cy 44 name has to do with any thing i dont know im not agressive at all just thought it was a irelevent post hands up im obviously wrong

I for one like to hear how Efes has progressed and he seems to be doing well - on a different note I went to the KAR dog show this year I was astounded how many rotties there were, one in particular was massive. Hans lovely Dobermans there that day not a breed I know a lot about but know you have them



PS handed over 38 shots of flea and tick dosages they said they would come to good use



Anyway well done Mike you seemd to have a loyal friend in Efes

well done sienna, they will be put to good use. Efes is such a lovely boy now. We are a small community here and like to hear about the dogs we have rescued. Mike has done a vey good job with efes.

Mike AJ is still on here just not moderating at the moment. This is not controversial we like to know,look how many used to come into the restaurant to see whichever lodger I had at the time. Most people do care about the wellbeing of these animals we take in . Mike you have done agreat job with efes. I still remember him under the table and me trying to coax him out with a bone. xxx

Lilli, it would still be the same, he still hates strangers, only person not in the family that he has taken a shine to is my mates wife. Not too bad with a couple of our mates either. (Nips her bum though hehe)



He hates the gardener, probably because he keeps filling in the holes he has dug. My mate says that dogs don't like the locals or people with coloured skin. My mum caught the gardener throwing stones at Efes one day. Hmm I wonder why they are so aggressive towards locals etc....... (Rhetorical question just in case our other poster doesn't get it)
