'Acip' and 'reliable' are not two words which should appear in the same sentence! Seem to remember he was coming 'definitely tomorrow' to sort out our problem when I rang him on a daily basis for about a week more than a year ago. Needless to say, never seen or heard from him, got somebody else out in the end. The only thing he comes out quickly for is when he's flogging you a new system and there's some worthwhile money in it for him.

Shame to hear that about Acip. Bought our dish from him last year and have called him out several times to sort out signal problems. In particular when the new satellite affected the BBC signals he came out and provided a fix and when that was no longer effective he fitted a new LNB and a signal booster (I think that is what he called it). It now works perfectly and he wouldn't take any additional payment. I have only ever paid him the original price for the dish and its installation.
