Yes. Cost 25 Euros for one month and is third party only. If you have not had insurance before you will also need to get road tax ( free ) which you can also get at the border. Take your driving UK licence to get the tax.

You can get insurance up to nine ok but you can't get the road tax they close at two and don't open at the weekends, so best pop over get the insurance and road tax earlier

I was just wondering about this question of buying this very expensive insurance at the border. I have a friend who lives near Larnaca and he buys a years car insurance through a broker/agent on this side at a fraction of the cost of buying at the border on monthly rates. Has anybody thought of seeing an insurer over and the other side and trying to buy a years policy? If such a thing were possible the firm would be inundated with customers from this side, I'm sure.
