Tonight was a great success, the band were fantastic and Dan on lead guitar was awesome tonight.

Congratulations to The Lodge, the food was good as was the service. It was very well attended and lots of people dancing. Tulips also raised a goodly sum so all in all a good night. Well done Pearl

Who cares, the evening wasn't about him and he has a fantastic team of staff who don't require their leader to be present.

The owner did not need to be present? For some reason posters on here have to write a nice post with a nasty edge..



The evening was very enjoyable, the food was good & Pearl were excellent especially with the first problems with the electricity, which they handled very well..

Thank you to everyone that came along to the gig; yes it was a super night and because we are all used to power cuts over here - you were all very patient.



There is another thread informing you all of how much we raised on the night (1,100tl), so a very big thank you to all who attended and contributed.



We are really pleased that you enjoyed the evening and it is great to see the positive feedback above (we also know there are a few little niggles we need to iron out), but we had the opportunity of meeting some wonderful people on the night and we hope to meet you all again at the next gig.

There was no nasty edge to my posting,it was a super night as expected from pearl,but that night was the new owners first big night and for a good cause and after every 1 rushing to get the venue finished in time i in my honest opinion thought the new owner would of wished to have seen how the night went,regardless of how good his second in command or team are who were looking after the show.



Why do folk have to read into postings in a negative way.

As to the owner well if he wasn't there on Saturday maybe he wasn't there on Sunday either as his Bingo callers were so LOUD we thought the owner must have been playing from his home up the mountains!!!!

How loud was it at the venue because from our terrace it drowned out our music Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!
