Hi, We are going to share a well with our neighbour but need to put in our own pump and hose etc. Can anyone recommend someone that does this sort of thing professionally and give an idea of how much it would cost for a standard pump and installation. Thanks

can't reccomend anyone other than to say firstly don't use the place by the bellapais traffic lights that sells the plants and secondly be wary of where the pump was manufactured - many many cheap and nasty Chineese pumps out there............

i'd be looking to buy in the south and get it fitted / installed in the north.....

We had a well dug and if any problem we call Adem he has never let us down and can not recommend him high enough. Give him a call he will give you advice and a quote for what you need. Adem Tel No 0542 8541180. He will not wire the pump up to the mains but he will recommend an excellent electrician, he is Mustafa so for one job you will get two top blokes who will not let you down.

05338517719 Ring thwses people they supply and fit well pumps, you definitely need a submersible well pump and you need a proper exterior waterproof box for the electrical components. That is if you want it done properly !

Hi Jarnac

I have a pump which I no longer need, and it has been checked out by PUMP TEKNIK at Alsancak.

it may suit your requiments,

It is capable of pumping to a head of 80 metres, with a max flow of 120 ltrs per minute through a

1-5 flexible hose, 2.2 kw motor comes with starter, float switch long heavy duty elec cables ,

about 10 metre delivery hose,and assorted couplings,etc.

This is a strong Italian pump model No,QJD5-80/16.2.2

I would of course fit the pump for you after surveying your well.

Bargain price , £130, del and fitted. Tele 0542 8850601.

Who is the pump manufacturer, please, Rinso - is this a submersible [as I can't find details of your pump model on a Google search] and has this pump been repaired by PUMP TEKNIK, or is it, indeed, repairable, as many submersible pumps aren't?

Thanks in anticipation of your answer to this query.
