this made me smile as when we visited a few years ago instead of begging the children carried round bathroom scales offering to weigh the tourist in return for a few coppers.........didnt see this the last few times we have been so obviously they cottoned on to the fact that women (in particular) didnt want to know how much they weighed and certainly didnt want to pay for the privilidge......just wondering where all those scales went Bestseller!?

Pop Life in south - they have really nice tempered glass with stainless steel ones - 12 euros ish

I bought digital scales recently from Techmar which is a small shop opposite Karakum Lemar. I think they were around 40tl.
