There's a new update for Skype,
Version 5.3.0.113
Click on HELP at the top of the Skype page,
then click on ABOUT SKYPE, this will tell you what version you're running.
If it's not the up to date version, go back to HELP tab,
then click on CHECK FOR UPDATES.

| cheers navek done that didnt work thought if i un-install skype i could re-install it and it might work but now i keep haveing this msj pop up

| Had problems with mine too. Signed in to the link as in message 10 and found a whole load of shared files and tmp files and deleted them all and now up and running again. Thanks. |

| The problem seems to be with windows 7. Mine stopped working 2 days ago and have had to revert to my old lapt top with XP. Our friends are having a simmilar problem, theirs won't work on windows 7 but does on vista.all have down loaded the latest version of Skype. |

| You need to delete a file in order to use whichever skype version you are on. email me on john@cartridgeisland.com for exact notes.
I have actually deleted my Skype v5.3 and gone back to v4.2 - Better video and sound, interface not too much of a change.
WHATEVER YOU DECIDE TO DO backup your contacts - just in case, I didn't have a problem |
