'THE AUTHORITIES in the north have decided to join the bandwagon of celebrations to mark the royal wedding of Britain’s Prince William and Kate Middleton by issuing stamps in their honour. According to Turkish Cypriot press, the wedding stamp will cost one Turkish lira, the equivalent of around half a euro, and will be circulated in the north from June 1.'

That will be one for the collectors.

@ msg 1,AJ: (...) the equivalent of around half a euro (...)

▶ No way. The "weakened Euro" (wishful thinking of some) was only 44 Euro cents today. All the way down from 60 Euro cents. And sinking.

re msg 1 AJ

the title surely should be 'Pseudo' stamp... the lack of inverted commas infers you 'agree' with the adjective ;)

Mark

Why should I want to change anything from the original article?

It is not my article therefore I have reproduced it in its entirety without changes or additions for others to decide what they want to read into it.

For your benefit here is the original source:

Seeing as you are taking an interest in this thread, I would like to know what your interpretation of a 'Pseudo stamp' is. By the way inverted commas have been added just for you.
