The LA Hotel beach is open to the public, for just 10TL each (Little kids free!) you can spend the day chillaxing on our private sandy beach or lazing by our beachside infinity pool. There is a bar serving drinks and snacks. Jacket potatoes, pizza and sandwiches are 8TL, Burgers are 10TL. See you soon!

I must agree with that, the beach is lovely and the food reasonably priced. The pool looks fantastic and I believe the price includes the use of the pool at the hotel which is better for children. We just need the sun to shine a little more and heat us up.

Where are in lapta. Follow the road out of Girne west. We are the last hotel on the right hand side of the Lapta strip, past the Celebrity hotel. You will be more than welcome!

Actually the hotel is the last hotel on the left but the beach is on the opposite side of the road. What has happened to the weather, it almost June, need an umbrella not a beach at the moment.

You can park in the car park by the beach, or in the hotel car park! We have an underground passage from the hotel car park to the beach.

Just a question ? Why do we feel the need to gather in groups on semi -croweded beaches. There are 100,s of miles of beaches with no-one on them.Has the family get to-gether passed our generation bye or have we become to lazy to pack a picnic ,pack a couple of sun loungers and travel a few miles in the car???.You used to see the cypriot families under an olive tree and at least three generations of the family all interacting, not so common now.Alas it seems we would rather whinge about the price hotels are charging for something that is free.

Some people prefer to be able to use facilities provided by the hotels, toilets & showers for example. Picnics are OK but squatting behind a bush for a wee or getting sand in your sandwich's is not for everyone!

Msg 15 - plenty out east. As msg 13 - pack a picnic / a cold box with drinks / a few chairs and explore the coast. Plenty of places and never that far from a wee wee stop if you need to go. The east side - for the most part - is still unspoiled. May it continue
