‘North Cyprus promotion Days’ events which are being held in Turkey are continuing. As part of the declaration of 2011 as the year of North Cyprus in Turkey, the TRNC culture and tourism were promoted at 3 main squares in Istanbul yesterday.

The Minister of Tourism, Environment and Culture Unal Ustel is also taking part in the events.

TRNC folk dances, concerts by TRNC Musicians, dishes traditional to the TRNC and handicrafts are all on display simultaneously in Bakirkoy, Taksim and Kadikoy.

Promotional brochures, carpet bags, local chewing gum and other promotional items are being handed out during the 3 day event.



Meanwhile within the framework of events a special draw will be held and 30 people will win an all expenses paid holiday to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.



Meanwhile, Prime Minister İrsen Küçük has flown to Istanbul after completing his contacts in London to attend the events.



Prime Minister Küçük and Minister Üstel came together with the Mayor of Beyoglu Ahmet Misbah Demircan this morning.
