Although there is dancing and fun to be had every night of the festival, 'the' night to go if you can only go once is Tuesday 31st May for the international dance competition... This is the Gala or 'Première' night of the festival with the prestigious folk dance prize up for grabs.

The groups of dancers from around the world really go for it with gusto.

It's a great night with lots of joy and to see the losing dancers applauding the winners shows the true heart of the festival.
