OSN TV problems today

Unfortunately, OSN have had a fire at their offices and they have lost power temporarily so, their channels are down at the moment.

Some are still receiving receiving the FTA and third party subscription channels.

I will update everyone here throughout the day.

I got up @ 3am this morning to watch the UFC 130,and i could not watch it,i was going to call you but i thought you may be sleeping!

Not to worry,its repeated later this evening,but ive had no problems with OSN today,all is great.Even with the heavy rain,no problems.



Best TV system by a long way in cyprus.

My favorite fighter rampage jackson was fighting,and your so correct,i would not loose any sleep over football,albeit a pity manchester united lost .

Duh ! you are right there Paul , my son's get up at all times to watch sports live . I only know of 2 ladies personally who are really into sports in a big way .

Hi Amanda , Cage Fighting , i have heard of it but have never seen it , does the cage have to be a certain size ? not much chance of avoiding the punches if so , i would imagine it's a bit more intense { if thats the word } because of the confined space .

If is a very intense sport,these guys are super fit,more so than just boxers,i think a real mans sport.

What is the 'best' TV in CY is VERY much an objective opinion..



If you're British or Irish it's HARDLY likely to be an Arab TV service... unless you can't / won't /don't want / have a 4.2m dish;) ....

Dubai office had a fire in the OSN building's UPS room. The building itself is NOT on fire. But power was lost in the building.

We have been advised that all channels should be back on air at midnight.

The commercials on OSN are of no form of entertainment to me and many others,i can ignore the arab speeking commercials,so OSN is just perfect,watched Holland get knocked out of the darts semi finals last night by a scotchman,i enjoyed that very much!
