When connecting my laptop to TV the picture is too green. I open Graphic Properties, Click Colour Correction, then when I try and change Green and Blue, it changes, but the RED option does not work! When I try and change the red on my laptop screen, it works! Not too bad when I'm watching golf, but problems when the wife wants to watch the gardening programmes.

@ msg1, Texas: (...) When connecting my laptop to TV the picture is too green. (...) ▶ Several possibilities: - Did you upgrade your Operating System lately? - Did you buy a new computer or a new TV? - Did you check the connecting cable (one of the pins may be faulty) or change the connecting cable?

My guess would be, if you are using a vga cable both ends (15 pins) it is a bent pin causing the problems, as DC as already suggested. Other than that it migh be an issue with resolution on the laptop. Only some resolutions on the laptop will work with the TV, depending on the laptop and the TV.

Thanks for the tips guys. The operating system, Laptop and TV are unchanged, as the resolution changes when adjusting the laptop screen, that leaves the cable. I will check this soon, as one end goes into the TV which is not easy to access as it's on the wall!

@ msg 4, Texas: (...) that leaves the cable. (...) into the TV which is not easy to access (...) ▶ If the pins on both side of your current cable are not damaged there may still be a loose or broken connection inside the cable (which of course you cannot see - however you can have it checked in a computer shop). ▶ Not all desktops/laptops use the same connection cable to a second monitor or TV. To make sure you have (or have to buy) the right one: check in your documentation or on the Internet the number/type of connection cable you are advised to use by the computer manufacturer.

Thanks DC. I will do that when I disconnect the cable from the TV.
