Has anybody seen any beaded door curtains?

I have trawled Kyrenia today looking for beaded door curtains. If anybody defenitely knows who has them in stock, could they please post on here and I will be eternally grateful.

We bought our beads from the "old" shop to the right (when facing) the electricity offices where bills can be paid in Girne. They are of good quality though better for show rather than constant use (by children) as the odd bead can crack if regularly swung against door pillars.

Bought one a while back in the market at tip of Karpaz. very reasonable price too. Long way to go though, unless you intend to visit.

Msg3 tried 1001 they have none left, msg4 as said long way to travel but if I hear of anybody going down there will

ask them to buy one for me.



Penny I am having a stall at Sinya on Saturday as well, so will take a look at yours, do you have 2 of these door curtains?

Msg 7 & 8 I have looked upstairs in China bazaar but couldn't see any. I also asked the assistant who didn't really understand what I was asking for. I have now got the Turkish name for them, so will try again when I am next passing.

I will ask around about the fish kettle for you, unfortunately they take up that much room in your kitchen cupboards that I gave mine away. It's much nicer baked in foil in the oven, stuffed with prawns, dill and breadcrumbs, covered in white wine and bay leaves. Yummy, Yummy. See you Saturday.

Our purchase was a year or two ago so they should be able to come up with something for you if you do not take up Penny's offer. Like many shops here there are good buys amongst the Chinese tat !
