Can anyone recomend an insurance Company in Northern Cyprus tht is basically honest and who will not seek to avoid settling legitimate claims. I am aware that the onus is always on the claiment to prove that a claim is genuine but I am experiening delaying tactics and what I feel is a definate and deliberate attempt to avoid dealing with a legitimate claim. The policy (home) is coming up for renewal and I would rather not have any further hassel hence the wish to change insurers.

We have been insured through Garanti bank, house and car for many years. Fortunately we have only had to make one claim (car) but they were honest and paid up (our fault),

The Ozankoy Bookshop is an agency for two different insurance companies, Commercial and Limassol. Both are very good and well established companies. There have been claims while we have had the agency and we have had no problems at all, they have been very good.

I know of a case where Steve insisted his customer made a claim, even when they didn't want to, after a slight car accident which was their own fault.

We had a claim a couple of years ago when someone reversed into the side of our car and our insurer, Can Sigorta , paid for the repairs and gave us a courtesy car for the day . Car was fully valeted when we got it back too ! Excellent service. English representative, Carol will answer any questions quickly and easily in our experience over the last 5 years.

You may be better to ask the board what was the outcome of any insurance claims !!



You will then seek out the reputable companies !!
