| My family and I came home last night to find that we didn't have any water. Apparently, one of our kids turned on the outside water, and a hose leaked all night. Our tank is connected to an underground pipe, and it usually fills up automatically, but for some reason, it didn't this time. Are we under some sort of water restriction that we didn't know about? Do you get cut off at a certain point? Is there someone we need to go talk to?
We are living in Glapsides if that helps at all.

| Most areas have periods when the water is switched off to allow pumping to the extremities of the network of pipes... You will need to ask your Belediye about your supply. Oh and beat the child soundly for leaving the tap running! Well don't but... do impress upon them the nature of water shortages here. Although it might seem to have been a wet winter, some areas have had the driest winter for 20 years. |

| You come under Famagusta, the water office is in the Town Hall Building, 50 metres along from the main Post Office on the left (Opposite the "Zoo"). Ask at the desk on the left just thru the main doors.
