KAR asked children to design Christmas Cards. We received 73 entries from English and Turkish children as well as some from other nationalities. 12 have been chosen as winning designs to be printed as Christmas Cards this year and sold in aid of KAR. The official opening is on Saturday 4th June when the Mayor of Girne will present prizes to the winners but this event is by invitation only for all the children that entered and their parents.



However, all of the art work is on display at the Girne Cultural Centre (Wednesday Market building - upstairs) from Monday 6th June until Wed 8th June inclusive. The exhibition is open from 10am-4pm on those days. Please come along and see the many varied, inventive and interesting designs that the children have produced.
