hi guys

there were several issues ,main ones being ...property,military service and voting rights for t/cs living abroad .

there are 350 thousand turkish cypriots residing in the uk ,a staggering 180 thousand in the borough of enfield alone ,followed by australia,canada and america.

the 350 thousand are 100% cypriot ,in my household only i count not my children as parents are not both cypriot.

they are all calling for a vote.

military service issues the t/cs want their children who have so much to give too cyprus,to be able to go and set up homes and buisnesses without having

to do national service.

property ,the orams case came up a few times ,it is claimed that if the lose their case ,we will all suffer and will be made to pay some monies to the greeks if you have bought on greek built land ,they will seek compensation through the british courts ,not new really you can get round it .

a lot of talk about reunfication and clearly if the uk turks vote it will be a fast no..

are you any less of a greek cypriot because both your parents are not greek

i,m sure you don,t feel so and why should you,and it,s this that annoys me a cypriot is a cypriot where ever in the world and how they got there.

are the brits living abroad any less british ,of course not .

are you any less greek then any other greek ,no .
