| we are coming to live in kyrenia and i am 30 weeks pregenant i will be giving birth in cyprus just wanting to know what are best hospitals and is it better to go to southern or stay in trnc to give birth |

| There is a hospital in the centre of KMyrenia (Kamin oglu) where young Cassius Clay was born, plus other children to locakl folk. Near East could well be more expensive, plus from Kyrenia you have to get there. could save time locally! Hope all goes well. |

| I agree 100% with message 5 Dr Meliz is a wonderful gynecologist / obstetrician and a very warm and caring person. Also the hospital is equipped to deal with any emergency that may arise. Chris |

| Not having the experience of having a baby in the TRNC but using the hospital facilities here for quite a serious op, I have to agree with Nurseawful's statement of 'the hospital is equipped to deal with any emergency that may arise'. I would strongly recommend that any hospital you choose to use should have intensive care/emergency facilities. If it does not then you run the risk, should a problem arise, of being transferred to the state hospital which in my mind wastes valuable time. |
