| The French - they get everywhere! I would remove them... but where to is the problem. They would really need to go to a reservoir. |

| If you have little frogs in your water tank then you have had big ones in there previously. What I would love to know is......how did they get in - lay their fertilised eggs and get back out again when the tank has a lid on? I think someone must have left the lid up, advice would have to be lock up the tank with a good padlock that you know the frogs will not be able to open!!! Seriously though, if you don't drink the water it does not matter. Fish the poor things out and put them into the garden - near a stone wall if you can so they can stay a bit damp. |

| These are probably European Tree Frogs. They are tiny even as adults - about 4cm long - so maybe these are not babies. They are also excellent climbers which explains how they got in there in the first place and also why you do not need to move them - when they are ready they will climb out. If they are adults you will hear their endless night time chorus - which many people confuse with cicadas - and the volume of noise they produce for such a small size is amazing. | I would remove them to a suitable location where they will be safe, this gives you some indication of the quality of the water regardless of it being for potable use or not. The water hygiene issue in NC & in the republic of Cyprus is a minefield due to the "potential" poblems which may arise, stagnation of water systems when not in use, ingress of contaminants due to no tight fitting seal on the tanks, I have seen from this forum that some people do actually carry out a disinfection of the tank and pipe work which is a step forward. When you see scale or bio-film (slimes) in the tank, these are nutrients where the proliferation of bacteria will occur so a thorough clean and disinfection is required, simply adding Sodium Hypochlorite to the tank is not enough, so please seek advice. |

| yes jovial john thats exactly how they are and just checked on them and they have hopped up to the edge. Reason my tank has a gap is cos a cable has been attached over the edge. |
