| Hi The- Wicks, A Humidor is the correct name for a box for keeping cigars in. I am a butler of 25 years experience and have to put distilled water in my employers cigar box. Chessman if you know anyone who runs a dehumidifier or failing that collect the water from your air conditioning unit. This is also good for your iron. The Butler |

| Hi, You can get de-ionised water from most petrol station shops or any auto-electricians. You should be able to get distilled water from the chemist. You can buy both at Orphanides in the south - 4 litres of de-ionised water is on offer at 1 Euro - can't remember the price of distilled. If you are not sure about the differences, or you want to make sure that you get something suitable see this link: - http://www.lenntech.com/deionised-demineralised-water.htm The advice about collecting re-condensed water from air-cons or de-humidifiers is ok as long as they operate in a relatively clean atmosphere - if there are heavy smokers around, for instance, you will end up will tar residues etc in the water... Regards, Keith. |
