yes - there is a small shop next to Wellies Garden Centre in Catalkoy. The man from there came out and repaired our neighbours machine in Esentepe, it was a problem with the belt and charged 70TL.

He doesn't speak a lot of English but he gets by.

As you are in Ilgaz, the nearest place is Haypem down on the main road, almost opposite Green petrol station. They do all kinds of repairs - washing machines, dishwashers, tvs etc etc. They will come out to you. I've always had good service from them and very reasonable prices.
