| Hi Ian We were in credit west catalcoy a few days ago and were told it was 4.5% for one year. Unless the rates have changed? Pete. |

| I think Limassol Turkish is paying 4.75% on 1 year but you would have to confirm this. |

| Considering the strength of the Turkish economy and particularly the TL - £ exchange rate, why not change £ to TL and get a second bonus when the lira comes down at the end of your 12 months and a guaranteed 9.5% interest or better if you have a sizeable amount to invest. |

| Last time I enquired with Faisal Bank it was 4.5% on sterling and 9.5% on TL. At the time I found them to be giving the best rates around on an investment account (they are an Islamic bank and pay profit rather than interest) so it's probably worth asking again what the latest rate is. |
