| The 14th turksoy opera days will be held at kyrenia castle on 24th and 25th june at 8.30
entrance is free
performers from 10 different turkic countries will be accompanied by the mersin state opera and ballet orchestra
a night to remember for sure |

| We have attended these in the past and they are excellent. It certainly will be a 'night to remember' and the setting is of course beautiful too. So many talented opera singers in one place....for free. We will certainly be there. Wouldn't miss it. |

We are interested in going, can you tell me if there is seating and what kind? I am asking as I have a bad back
and need to take a cushion if there are chairs or a chair and a cushion if it is like a lot of venues in the UK where
you sit on the grass.

| The last couple of times we went there was seating, plastic chairs but also some wooden bench type. Best take a cushion to be on the safe side. It is very popular with locals and dignatories......quite a dressy affair.....bit like the Albert Hall al fresco........but not quite such comfortable seating.....enjoy! |

| Hi all,
Thanks for your replies, will take a cushion and hope I get a chair, bench seating would not be any good for me as it does not give the spine any support. We are looking forward to dressing up for the evening and enjoying the programme.
