An internet shop that ships British Food worldwide to British Expats is proving to be a real winner in Cyprus.



The British Corner Shop started in 2004 and has since seen a staggering level of interest and now receives over 100,000 unique visitors per month to their website.



The online shop stocks around 4,300 products and is continually expanding their product ranges based largely on suggestions from customers.



According to a spokesman for the shop they have had some quirky orders, including the delivery of a parcel of British Food to Saddam Hussein’s old presidential palace in Iraq.



“British soldiers stationed there using the palace as their operations base found us on the web and decided they fancied a bit of decent British grub, we were happy to oblige.”



The site now has registered customers in 189 different countries.
