| In the uk I had a smashing compost heap with loads of worms is it possible to compost here in Trnc ? |

| Yes ,but it is more difficult here,Worms are NOT abundant and you have to be selective with your choice of compost-able waste...soft matter only.....Not close to the house"cockroaches galore"...Keep it Wet ..Good Luck.. |

| I think that we(British) are more used to soils with high "Humus" levels,this is were the worms live.Here the soils are heavy clay based, and bake hard in summer,not very conducive to moisture loving worms....I guess the cockroaches are the breakers down of compost etc........ |

| We have plenty of worms in our garden borders (but the drier conditions will drive them a little deeper). |

| i too would love some compost worms ( we call them shit worms in wigan ) ! would love to try them on the hook at the lake i fish near to mersinlik as i think the carp are getting fed up up with sweetcorn and lunctcheon meat . andy |
