I was thinking of going to Turkey for a weekend while I am in TRNC, I can't find any flights on Turkish Airlines website from Ercan to Turkey. I don't even know where they fly to in Turkey (Istanbul obviously) Where else? Has anyone else done it? Anyone gone on the ferry Thank you

We have flown to Istanbul for around £45 return, and to Adana for around the same price. It is not too expensive, but depends how early you book, flights are cheaper the earlier you book, and which airline.

Forgot to say, flights we had were with either Pegasus or Atlasjet and we normally use Ankara Travel in Girne to check prices - and get the best ones - and book through them.

If only going for a short stay it is better to use airline which lands at Aturturk airport as its easier & quicker to go to the centre where the main attractions are. It takes more than 1 hour to go from Sabia Gotchen airport to go to the centre then a sea bus.
