Best Time to book a hotel In Turkey for summer?

Hi all,

We are looking to go to Antalya but right now prices seem pretty high. I went to a tourism agency yesterday who told me that they offer 30%-40% off on early reservations by March. Unfortunately we never know the exact dates, or how many people till a few weeks beforehand.

Is there a chance that some hotels will offer last minute deals in August because of the fasting? Or should we book something now for August?

Also can anyone recommend a good website?

Some agencies Ive looked at in Cyprus are more expensive than in Turkey, (for the same hotels)I don't know why the prices are more expensive here.

The travel agent I spoke to saidthat they offer big discounts during March and April- what about if you book at the last minute? anyone?

Book for August. The hotels are desperate at that time of year because this August clashes with the İftha period - the religous holiday which forces all Muslims to faste. This ends at the end of the month and then the whole country has a week off and prices sky rocket.
