North Cyprus weddings Also try Vashti, Carol, Teresa, they all consider themselves experienced and professional and there are others with good experience like Marion too.

All can be found here on Cyprus 44

HOnestly Phil, I don't think it is Muslims, but turkish nationals. I wll make further enquiries, and hope some of the wedding planners write on this thread, but my experience is that it is Turkish nationals, whatever their religious beliefs.

Seems a bit racist

also will put people off getting married there

in my opinion

if there may be complications when they arrive

Jordan Msg 6 - What style of entertainment do you want?

A classical orchestra? A Jazz quartet? The cast of Mama Mia the film? Modern, traditional? etc.

If you could be a little more explicit I am sure that one of the co-ordinators such as Teresa or Vashti might be able to help.

Nice one, tom. I agree with his questions, and yes, there is a quartet, or a duo that can be hired, or maybe the whole of the Lefkosia orchestra. Harpist can be brought in from the south, but not sure about the cast of Mama Mia! I agree, being more explicit, because the co-ordinators most surely do know. I have been to several where a quartet ha splayed, and beautiful it is, although I sometimes think I am the only one who knows the tunes and can sing a long (flocks may graze, etc, etc.)

Good evening, then state what you want, all my clients do. If it is unusual, it will cost. They may have to travel from Turkey or the UK. What is your budget? What do you actually want? Will your guests appreciate the costs that you will have paid out? (they do not normally). I have organised weddings in Cyprus for many years, both in the north and recently the south side, and had 30 years experience before I came here, so nothing is impossible, but it may cost.

I can supply wines for wedding parties. Good rates and much better quality than the local rubbish.

Jordan Msg 11 - Have you already employed a co-ordinator such as Teresa from http://www.weddingsnorthcyprus.com ? If so they will assist you if not it sounds like it might be a good idea as Carol said in Msg 10 nothing cannot be done but it will also depend on your budget and how soon you want your class act too. Whatever it sounds like you are aiming at a fun wedding keep at it.

Agreed. The co-ordinators (should you employ one) can find out anything you want, if you can afford it. And if you can afford the 'different' then the money invested in a weddingplanner could be worth every lira.

Most of us know people who do this and that - sing, disco, play instruments, belly dance (even) but much of the other stuff is over the border or over the seas.

sounds different though.
