Not sure if anyone has already posted this but if so then I apologise for the duplication. Manchester. The Saturday flight is available for booking, Wednesday flights are being loaded now. Birmingham. It is planned to operate two flights a week next year. The Monday flight is now bookable but not yet the Thursday Gatwick. The Friday flight is now bookable Heathrow. The Saturday and Monday flights are now bookable. Glasgow. A service once a week is planned for next year but details are not yet available. Stansted. The 10.30 flights are bookable and the corresponding 05.30 back is bookable, but not much else. CTA prices range from £229 to £399. We always quote the cheapest price available at the time of enquiry. When the cheapest prices are sold out the next cheapest fares apply and so on until only the highest price remains. To avoid paying the higher prices book early. Book now for Easter, May bank holiday and late July flights.

continued...... Those persons flying from London we recommend waiting for Pegasus prices to be announced before booking as Pegasus might have nice timed flights and at a cheaper price. We will send out another email when Pegasus flights are bookable. Direct Tel: 01689 829911 (Company is called Transit Travel) Don't know who this company is and I've never had any dealings with them so cannot comment on whether they are good or not. For some reason they have sent the above mail to me so I thought I would pass it on purely for the flight details..

Hi Orangekazzie, I booked with this company last year and they were fine. email tickets within 30mins of booking. Guys name was Ray if my memory serves me right. Karen is right though, wait until Pegasus bring out their flight times and prices also I read somewhere that a company is hoping to do direct flights into Ercan in 2009. The Butlers wife

Is there any likelihood of Pegasus starting flights to Manchester? Stansted is not the easiest place to get to from these northern regions of the UK, especially if you do not want to drive. By rail it is about 3 changes and savings on the flights are spent on rail fares!

CTA are loading the system slowly and they have made wild promises about different flights - they have not published any Glasgow flight as yet (they have said nothing to me as an agent when I asked a direct question either). CTA/KTHY also forgot to tell anyone that the prices they published were for 2008/2009 till further notice. An edited version of their information on top and bottom prices etc can be found on http://www.flightholiday.co.uk/fh/Flights_UK_Turkey_North_Cyprus.php#CTA

MSG 3 The talk of direct flights has being going around for 3 years we have lived here. It will not happen until there is a will from the international community to ignore all vetoes from Roc and Greece at the EU and within the Chicago Convention. There was talk earlier this year of an Italian company flying direct from Roma but cannot see how they would be any different to all the other companies trying to do it. There is one certainty, with all the uncertainty in financial markets I would be very careful about booking so far ahead, especially direct with airlines. Would be nice if Pegasus decided to branch out and discover there is more to the UK than London!
