Does anyone know if an individual pays import duty if goods are bought in via Turkey, or a TRNC company ?

Yes,even if goods are brought via turkey or bought from turkey,duty is still payable

Yes you will have to pay the tax.We have had to pay the tax on our container coming from england

If you import from Turkey, you pay the KDV here, but you need to ask the company you are purchasing from to take off the KDV that end, this is completely legal, otherwise you will pay twice!
