Not sure they do decrease, we have always found you are better off booking flights as far in advance as you can.

You can already book with some airlines for as far ahead as next year as late as June 2012.

But you sometimes can book a cheap flight very late with Thomsons into Larnaca for around £80 return but it is a very late deal one or two weeks before departure date. My mate done this in June booked flight on a sunday flew on the following Friday for this price.

We used Pegasus last time as we found Anadolujet same price as 'proper' Turkish Airlines and the food was aweful and no film! Pegasus you take own foodor buy on board. No film but price better.

Book well in advance. Sept. flight this year with Pegasus £190. March next year £159.

How does one go about booking a flight to Ercan with a stop-off in Istanbul on return?

Only way I have been able to do it before is by booking separate flights but is expensive

but I have only booked on-line so far.

Generally prices fluctuate throughout the year. School holidays around Easter, then around mid-June until mid-Sept, then around Xmas. This would be for UK based flights.

So flights between these periods tend to be cheaper, as do week-days and lastly night flights.



For flights bought and originating from an Islamic country you would need to check holidays that they follow.
