I'm returning home permanently soon and was wondering how much notice I should give to water and electric offices. And for anyone who has already gone through this, did you ever get your deposit money refunded by Kibtek?

Cayan,

Despite the doom & gloom posters, unless you are in true financial difficulty then don't it as UK (my friend) is not the answer

Honestly....

Well Stuart UK is the answer, finance has nothing to do with it, my family is there and my daughter is ill, being stuck here is definitely not the answer.

However, original question was how much notice do you give water and electric offices? Anyone?

Sorry I can't help Ceylan but just wanted to say I hope everything turns out well for your daughter, I understand how important it can be to have your family around you in times of need.

God bless.

Kib-tek makes makes full deposit refund at current deposit rates i.e. whatever is the current deposit rate at the moment. That normally means that you will get back more than you paid. You must either get somebody else to pay the new deposit and have the account in their name or you must have the electricity cut off before they process your claim for deposit back. It takes about a month, so normally that means that you must give a POA for someone to collect it on your behalf. Once I did that. I paid my tenant his deposit and he gave me a POA and I did collect it. Actually they had no choice but pay up

I hope your daughter will be ok! (I can't help you with Kib-tek) but my son has been ill, and I thanked my god I could support him at home! I hope everything goes well for you and your family!
