Drive up through Esentepe past the Garage, the Belediye and Kim market... the road turns right left right and straight up past the wedding park and the Zerdali Restaurant is on the right with ample parking across the road on the left...

The signs to the local police station will take you past it from this direction too...

Zerdali Restaurant, Esentepe (Apricot Restaurant)

Been there, good food and atmosphere,

definitely worth a try, kleftico's good I hear.

Try through back into his garden/nursery as well.

Prices are good as well

We only hear good things about Senol's Zerdali (Apricot) Restaurant..

Now that winter is here... joke, it's still baking... Senol has erected a closed in area at the front of the restaurant...

As Navek has said it's really nice if you venture past the first few tables to the rear where a leavy glade awaits...

Hi all,

The pot bellied stove Gooligan is on about is a work of art in itself, it is hand made out of three lorry wheel hubs the heat is terrific and cant wait to get the chestnuts roasting on it shortly

Also worth noting there is live local music three nights a week

Hi Just to let everyone know the so called "Apricot (Zerdali) restaraunt is actualy called the "ZEERDALI" which is another word for mad or crazy, but it might be a little crazy but the food is good and at the moment the prices are ok so worth a visit.

Enjoy.

Peter,

Where do you get these nuggets from...

Zerdali is the wild Apricot small in stature but more intense in flavour.

Here is another little nugget for you Groucho,

In the Arabic countries the stone of the Apricot is used for birth control.......... by the camel drivers.......... how you may ask, well tas hey prefer there lady camels to carry loads on there backs they place the stone within the lady camels !!!!!!! being a gentleman I will let your imagination or memories work it out, no pun intended.

Also during the time of Shakesspeare in one of his plays he mentions the aphrodisiac qualities of the apricot, just in case anyone is interested.

Just because the Bard referred to "those f*cking apricots" does not make them an aphrodisiac... ha ha
