I would like to thank Başak at Petcross Vets for all her help with my poor cat who unfortunatly got attacked by a dog a couple of weeks ago, thankfully she is on the mend now and had her stitches out today. On the night in question which was a saturday night at midnight, i phoned my usuall vet to no avail i tried all the numbers in the Buz book but no one was interested, i phoned a friend who told me that petcross now have a 24hour emergency number, the vet was waiting for me, put the cat on a drip and took her home with her so that she could keep an eye on her overnight, she then operated on her the next day. I am so grateful to her. I would recomend Petcross to anybody.

Always a good idea to keep a couple of vets mobile numbers on your phone .Just incase you can't get hold of your usual one.

Glad to hear your cat is on the mend. Have to agree with your comments. The staff at Petcross really are caring and proffesional towards their patients and it is reasurring to know they are there 24/7 for emergencies. Had to use them a couple of months ago for an emergency when our 10 month old puppy stuck her head in a lavender bush and was bitten/stung by an unknown insect. Her eyes closed up, her face swelled to twice the normal size and her mouth looked like she had overdosed on Botox! 2 1/2 hours on a drip late at night and she was back to normal.

Our Cyprus terriier was rumaging in undergrowth and had a problem with her eye. Went to petcross and 2 mins later extracted and ear of grass seed from her eye - an inch long - no wonder she was distressed but thanks to them she back to normal self. Thanks Pets cross
