On the off chance that should anyone be driving from North Cyprus to the UK within the next 3/4/5 weeks and would like company, financial help with petrol costs, shared driving please email me, address on my profile. One-way flights are now in excess of £200, so thought a journey through Europe with fun en-route would be a better option. I've two clean driving licences and speak French, though my English is getting pretty rusty!!

Brinsley We drove from UK-TRNC, will say it was an experience, but we would never ever do it again. What with the costs of going through the borders, plus petrol, also staying in Hotels it worked out a lot more than a flight. It was lovely though seeing all the different countries and meeting the people.

Thanks, I wasn't really looking for a cheaper way to get back to Blighty but an adventure visiting and experiencing a few Countries that I have yet to visit. I'm too old in the tooth to find flying an exciting way to travel!

That would be great fun, but apart from visiting cotton fields and whore houses would we ever get to our final destination!
