cheers will do have also found a taxi that will bring 7 of us from larnaca airport to girne for £55.00 , which is a bargin so may do that instead ,

well i can certinaly do without the Glades for a month , we have a house out there so although it is a holiday it is like living in two places strange but great at the same time .

I too lived in the Bromley area for many years and my children still do, go back often but wouldnt want to live there again, too many sirens going off all the time, glades IS good for shopping and The Theatre is excellent......

The Kapnos shuttle takes you from Larnaca Airport to Larnaca.

However, you either have to get a service bus (159 or 160, I think) to Ledra St and then walk across the border and pick up a dolmuş at Kyrenia Gate. It is not too bad with hand luggage, but would be difficult with large cases. If there are seven of you, I think the taxi is your best bet.

Actually, it is 158 (Municipal Bus) [you're right about 160] that will take you to the bus station situated between the Lokmaci and Ledra Palace crossing points. It's a shorter distance to Lokmaci, cos we've tried walking both.
