coming over for holiday shortly and was thinking of spending a day at the ship inn,has anyone eaten there recently and are they still charging visitors for the facilities.

Tap in, 'Ship Inn' into the Google search engine at the top of the page and read the reviews. Apparently, not as user friendly than years ago, only comments made by some.

i can assure you that the ship inn is still the same as before - my family stays there every year and it is a very nice and friendly place ! do not hesitate you will not be disapointed -

We use it all the time when visiting, recently 2 weeks ago, food is good & the staff are always helpful & friendly

Last yr there were concerns (me included) that the Ship suddenly started charging for visitors to go and use facilities. Looks like they've come to their senses. I called in a couple of weeks ago and asked the question to be told that I was welcome to go and use the pool etc., they only asked that we at least buy some drinks which is fair enough.

Can't complain of the food, we ate one night a few months ago and it was ok, not fantastic but nice enough and reasonable value, and the service was very good and very friendly.

We have stayed at the Ship Inn twice during our visits to North Cyprus. We have always found the staff and service to be friendly and fair. We really enjoyed our time there and visited when we had alternative accomodation on other visits.
