Help!!!! Surely someone knows if the road is open now, it adds so much time to the journey if you have to go round the mountain!!!!!!

Geoff I read that as well.

I find that there is loads of good and accurate information on that forum without all the attacks that posters on here suffer, it is mainly for people living to the East of Girne though

I find that Glencoe forum is quite unfair as Greg the one who runs the forum attatcks certain folk at every count, such folk cannot defend them selves as they are not allowed on the forum, odd to say the least.

So for me I do not rate Glencoe forum for this reason.

I find the Glencoe forum much better than this one now. It has a more balanced membership, who can debate without it turning into a slanging match. Another benifit is that you dont get Pipie coming along with her usual rubbish and spoiling things. Long may it continue.

Thats why I dont post on here only read it usually.

The glencoecyprus board is well balanced easy to read and there is no sign of any of what you describe, it seems as if you are banned from the forum is that why you have such a chip on your shoulder, it is not certain folk it is just you.

Me, I am with Geoff1131 it is nice that you are not on there.

As I noted in my first post I am new here.

I have read the drivel that has been spouted by some and stayed out of it for good reason.

I like to think that I can use the search facility on here for whatever information I need but I have also joined the Glencoe web page and find it very good as nobody seems to attack or twist anything that has been asked or posted. A balanced forum indeed with answers to questions without those who purport to know whilst not seemingly actually living there.

Maybe members get banned for reasons that annoy other posters, as I have seen on here.

To go off topic again, why pipie do you persist ?? you should think that maybe "just maybe" you got things wrong over 2 yrs ago and the the big man was not the ogre you try so hard to portray, the people you sung the praises of (Lynx) is not delivering anything like the service you thought they would, in fact here we are again another summer (yr 3) season and only one pool open on a site with five pools, collapsed roads, withering plants ect. not to bore everyone again, you know it all already but pipie its time to climb down a bit and admit you (maybe) got a lot wrong (not likely), just like Greg admitted some time ago he made mistakes lol

If you are talking about the North Coast Road which runs from Tatlisu to Bafra. Yes it is very much open. We took a trip out there on Saturday morning all the way to Bafra (what an amazing place that is). The Tarmac is perfect and as the road veers south through the mountains fabulous views, and easy driving and no traffic cameras in site.

Have to agree Julia. A perfect drive at present low traffic so even the driver can take in the fantastic views, wonder how long it will stay a perfect drive. Mmm mmmmm enjoy it while we can hey !! have a nice day everyone.

Maybe message 6 would like to revisit the comments misguidedly made !!,
