There aren't any FINANCIAL benefits that I know of....... I am under the impression that we have to get residency if we are living here permanently, which we are. I believe that it's Citizenship when there may be some financial benefits after a certain age - but I'm not sure. See what the others have to say.

You can use your pink (or blue) book to get cheaper rates at tourist sites, e.g. entrance into Kyrenia Castle costs around 12.50TL per person but you can get in for 3.50TL with your pink book. Every little helps

Its the law that you have to have it while living here. The benefit is you wont have to pay a big fine for not having it.
