| Nothing wrong with Efes beer (many of my Dutch friends/visitors know it!), but now we have the best of two worlds on Northern Cyprus: Efes and Dutch Heineken. Our tiny country TRNC may "politically not exist" and also suffers from a UN trade embargo, but some smart islander found a way to import real Dutch beer. Bravo! Well done! Serefe! Gezondheid!

| @ msg 2, Smity: I had seen a car with advertising for Heineken, but hadn't seen it in the shops yet (may be my fault) - my wife found it today at Starling in Alsancak. It is priced 2,8 TL (export quality). |

| Canned Heineken has been on the island for maybe 15 months now,but the Draft Heineken is much better and seems to be extra cold. |

'Extra Cold' is a con, same product but goes through two refrigerating units so is dispensed a couple of degrees below the norm.

| But it is colder than going through one cooler,same if you have a python system,then you have another under bar cooler to call it extra cold,but your right about extra cold,draft carling is on its way. |

Draft or draught?! But it is colder using the twin refrigeration system but doesn't justify a surcharge on the 'extra cold'!
