You are so lucky that N/Cyprus is not in the EU

and can stand on its own 2 feet

without loans or bail-outs

Msg, 2 TRNC stand on its own 2 feet. You must be joking!! The country is totally bankrupt and if it wasn't for Turkey it would be legless and paralysed. I don't want to appear rude, but honestly, you couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

IMO the Euro will be dead within 2 years and the bully boys of Brussels will collapse. The TRNC has been bankrupt since its conception and it should be grateful to its motherland for support.

Nigel Farage was exactly right when he predicted what was about to happen to the Eurozone, and he is correct when he said the conservatives were the only other party that knows the true perils that lie therein, just a pity they don't have the bottle to tell Brussels to shove it.

The UK stand to lose 43 billion if the Italian economy collapses, banks and investment houses risk losing £7.9 billion, and another £5.7 billion in bank collapses and the financial firms face a £29.2 billion, we should have told Brussels to shove it 25 years ago and stood on our own two feet, we would have been laughing now.

tattlad, I agree, I have much respect for Nigel Farage, he is disliked because he is honest about Europe.

DC stick researching the Crusades because you haven't a clue when it comes to politics.

tattlad, how very true, he really doesn't have a clue amount much other than the Crusades and I would suspect in one digged deeper he would be wrong on a lot of that subject too

Perhaps the collective noun for EU sovereign debt should be a Euro of Pigis.

No1Doyen I hope that remark is directed at DC, he is the one that always starts with the insulting.

No1Doyen.

Well my remark was aimed at DC, he's always very quick to snipe at the UK and it's policies, and in doing so is asking for retaliation, ivebinad is correct to ask you that question.

Not quite sure what is going on but buy 'short' on the €. Italy, Spain & Malta at 'war' over not allowing or aiding immigrant boats to land and letting them sink and die!

Turkey is attacked or is attacking Iraq, too quick on the news as I'm writing.
