We have just been advised that there are forged 50 tl notes circulating in Girne all have the same number

Thanks for the heads up scruffdog. I had a some having changed up some sterling yesterday. Checking them was like the lottery in reverse match all the numbers and loose. I was ok, no matches for me.

Thanks Scruffdog. Can you tell us where the information came from please? Any idea of the quality of these forged notes, and if there are any other obvious signs of being fakes?
