So sorry to nitpick once again, but shouldn't that be "PomeraniAns"?

I won't mention "anychance" actually being two words.

No, definitely not a "typo". Please don't shoot me for pointing out that you are avertising for a breed of dog, the name of which you can't actually spell correctly.

Oh, by the way, "any chance" is still two words

PS I wouldn't have mentioned it all if it was not for the fact that you are advertising yourself as a tutor (in English).

TRNC REALLY needs MORE breeding dogs - to swell the packs of feral, abandoned, dumped, intentionally let out, injured, traumatised - packs that roam the Island now - starving, flea/tick covered, thirsty, frightened.......................

UNbelievable........

WHEN will legislation be brought in to deal with this........can't be too soon......

Attacking others as a way to deflect from your actions, doesn't wash with me, or anyone else with half a brain...

Who is the "YOU" you refer to? people from EVERY culture are guilty of animal abuse, so if your last post is all you can contribute, you clearly have NO defence as regards adding to the HUGE dog population on a very small half Island.......I have had many dogs in my life, and every single one has left my ownership upon NATURAL death, or had to be put down by the Vet; my last one, at the age of 15, with dementia and severe arthritis........my daughter's pup in Girne was poisoned by - well - who knows? but it died a miserable, painful death.........and caused immense grief and trauma to many who witnessed her final moments.

'you' is you and the likes of you.

and.........there is NO case to defend. It's simple,'you' mind your own bussiness and get on with your life.If 'I' want to breed pre bred dogs or any other animals or buy them for that matter,it'd have nothing at all to do with you, just like your negative postings keep popping up every time someone posts regarding pure bred dogs.

I realy am sorry to hear about your doughter's dog but 'I' do not or anyone else for that matter need you to tell me what I should or should not do.If I particular bred of dog comes available that I'm interested,I'd buy.Not interested in other peoples left overs.

Why do people on this forum keep getting "het-up" when a viewer asks for a pure-bred dog?

Like houses, cars, partners, meals, clothing, shoes, music, etc.etc. we all have our own preferences.

I particularly do NOT like small dogs but to others, they love them. Good for them.

We all know there are many stray dogs on the Island, but I am getting sick and tired of all the posters on this forum who categorize me as a non-animal lover because I chose Doberman puppies as MY CHOSEN breed instead of taking in a STRAY!

The puppies I took on were already born and are just as good as any stray in my opinion

Get off your high horses all you STRAY lovers and allow us pedigree lovers to love and be loved by our own fantastic animals !!.

Hi yorguzlu,

There are some strays out there that are pure bred, I have seen german shepherds, red setters and labradors. Not many of the small dogs are pure bred though. In January we could not believe our luck when we adopted a pure bred West Highland Terrier, who had been a street dog for a while. He is the loveliest little dog and has already given us hours of pleasure, he has rewarded us with lots of affection without being boisterious. He had obviously belonged to someone who must have cared for him sometime in the past, as he had already been nuetered and was house trained. When I have taken him to the vets, I have always been amazed at the amount of small pedigree dogs there are, that belong to the local young ladies. They all seem to be loved and cared for and receiving the injections they need. On the other hand, there is a young man who is a neighbour of ours who keeps a pointer puppy tied up to a tree 24/7 and feeds it on bread and water.

Similar thread to the Bull Terrier one and yes i agree there are too many street dogs in TRNC and yes there are pedigree dogs in the streets as well. YES there is too many all the world over not just here.

But i have the right to pick a type of breed i would like to own and be owned by. We all have different cars and yes they all do the same things so why not all drive around in the cheapest and greenest car around and the same can be said for house, clothes ETC ETC.

Yes there are people that don’t look after their animals correctly and should not own any animals but if people wish to breed and they do so responsible why not, yes that means looking after for their life.

We have three pedigree dogs. Two of them are rescue dogs. I spent many years experience in a pedigree breed when living in the UK. Now here i am putting back something by offering these rescue dogs a happy experienced home. They are over beloved pets. I haven't done it for fashion, i have done it for the love of my breed.

Everyone to their own choices, but please stop having a go at pedigree dog owners. We are dog lovers!
